Yokohama, a city southwest of Tokyo, is a historical port town that flourished as a gateway to Western culture since the late Edo period in the 19th century. The appearance of "Western style town" that has lead the Japanese civilization opening remarkably remains in the city where exoticism drifts now. In addition to historical buildings, there are plenty of places of interest in the old and new towns. A beautiful night view unique to the ocean view is also one of the attractions, especially the "Minatomirai area" where the symposium venue is located, is a popular night view spot.

- From Narita International Airport: about 120 minutes by bus, about 100 minutes by train.
- From Haneda International Airport: about 30 minutes by train.
